I’ve had the pleasure of working with Luke and his fantastic dog on several occasions. He has always been exceptionally thorough, discreet and reliable. Luke’s professionalism and excellent communication have greatly served the large and demanding property I look after.

I personally worked closely with Luke over a two year period. We were involved with hotels, student accommodation and the social housing sectors.

On all occasions the dogs were extremely well trained and quite amazingly accurate in finding bed bug infestations and hot spots. One successful investigation was within a sheltered housing scheme of over 70 self-contained flats with communal areas.

With the use of one of Luke’s dogs in training he established the full extent to be with just under 30 flats and all the communal areas. The treatment was then able to be targeted ensuring eradication but importantly a cost effective solution for the customer.

I would not hesitate to recommend Luke and his team to undertake an excellent and effective treatment programme.

I first met Luke and the team at CAPE around ten years ago when they approached me with an idea that immediately caught my attention. They wanted to explore whether their detection dogs could be trained to identify the scent of chlorine to help find water leaks. I loved the idea from the outset and was delighted to work with them on an innovation project to turn that vision into reality.

Seeing the dogs successfully develop this capability was incredibly rewarding. What started as an innovative concept became a real success, with CAPE going on to routinely survey rural trunk mains using their highly skilled dogs. It was a fantastic example of what can be achieved when people are prepared to think differently and embrace innovation.

Over the years, I've watched with real interest and admiration as CAPE has continued to grow and evolve. It's been amazing to see the range of work their dogs can now undertake—not just finding leaks, but identifying defects in trees, locating sewer misconnections, and solving problems that many people would never imagine a dog could help with. Their capabilities never cease to impress me.

What has remained constant throughout is the passion, professionalism, and commitment of Luke and the whole CAPE team. They genuinely care about delivering the best possible service, and their willingness to innovate has always set them apart.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CAPE. They combine outstanding technical expertise with exceptional customer service, and it's been a real pleasure to see how far they've come since those first conversations a decade ago.
